Haven Lodge is a 32 bed care home located just on the edge of the quiet town of Normanton in West Yorkshire, with splendid views of the Calder Valley to the rear.

 

It's a case of Haven by name and Haven by nature, as the home provides a safe, soothing, homely atmosphere for the residents who live here.

Haven Lodge is a happy, humming home with lots of resident, family and staff involvement and has a particularly lively schedule of activities which are well attended and enjoyed.

 

There is a large lounge with views onto the secure garden to the rear of the home. We also have a smaller lounge if people would like a little more peace and quiet. The new conservatory dining area is light and attractive with views on two sides into the Homes' sensory garden.

 

The home has wheelchair access, stair-lift access to both floors, and all the necessary support equipment such as; mobile hoists, bath hoists, stand-aids.

Other Services:

  • Food: Nutritionally balanced meals are provided, in our fully equipped kitchen, to meet all preferences and special dietary requirements. Tea, coffee, juices, water and tasty snacks are also available throughout the day and throughout the night if required.
     

  • A full activities programme is supported by our in-house Activities Coordinator, with group sessions and more bespoke one-to-one sessions available. Singers, arts & crafts, entertainers, reminiscence, quizzes, karaoke, bingo, hand massage and nail care, dog shows,  various themed parties and trips to the local theatre, are just a few of the things to look forward to!
     

  • Religious & Spiritual needs: All needs will be supported, so far as is possible, with local religious community representatives welcome to the home to conduct services.
     

  • External Healthcare:  Appointments can be arranged for: Optician, Dentist, Chiropodist, Hairdresser.
     

  • Laundry: These services are provided in full on site.

We currently have 2 en suite rooms available at our home which provide 100% of the facilities advertised, with the inclusion of en suite features such as a shower, washbasin and toilet. Please scroll through the camera roll on the left and check our prices below for more information. 

Weekly Charges per Person

 

  • Self-Funded Residential Care £750 – £810

  • Self-Funded Residential Dementia Care £750 – £810​
